Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a university degree in a of study business, commerce, information technology and engineering
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of Program Management, Vendor Management, and Customer Account Management experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to travel and self-starters with business acumen and able to work under minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in the airline or related industries and a background in managing multiple programs and deliverables

  • The candidates should have knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, and regulatory and certification processes, as these are considered assets
  • The candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to bring teams together under a common objective
  • The candidates should have excellent analytical abilities and computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • The candidates should be proficient in verbal and written communication in English and efficient in French

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage and ensure alignment of all technical, contractual, financial, certification, and schedule aspects of new aircraft introduction by coordinating with internal branches (operations, maintenance, product design, flight operations, in-flight services, airports, finance, corporate risk, human resources, and training) to deliver the fleet on time, within scope, and on budget
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate all activities related to the Aircraft Configuration Process with the Aircraft OEM, internal stakeholders, and BFE vendors to define the aircraft configuration
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, contract award, and negotiations for all Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) required by the Aircraft OEM (including seats, in-flight entertainment, connectivity, emergency equipment, and other BFE products). They should manage the daily design, certification, build, and delivery of all BFE products
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the Entry into Service (EIS) process involving all internal functions, BFE suppliers, and the aircraft manufacturer
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the TCCA Aircraft Certification process, coordinating key internal functions and the aircraft manufacturer
  • The candidates should be able to manage program status reporting and dashboarding while supporting financial reporting and contributing to the preparation and oversight of program financial management
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the acquisition of flight simulators and training devices required by Flight Operations, overseeing activities needed to obtain rights, components, and software from the aircraft OEM to build the Aircraft flight simulators
  • The candidates should be able to support the aircraft delivery process, particularly in managing all BFE products, including handling shortages, financial compensations, and credits in coordination with the Sr Delivery Manager
