Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 37 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Flexible Hours
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Physical metallurgy, Materials, and Extractive metallurgy

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral and written communication abilities, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks
  • The candidates should show initiative in their role, exhibit good judgment in decision-making, and be organized in their work processes
  • The candidates should be reliable in meeting their commitments and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct studies on the properties and characteristics of materials, perform chemical and physical analytical studies, failure analyses, operational testing, and recommend materials and corrosion control measures
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate production testing and control of metal refining, smelting, or foundry operations
