Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments and be prepared for repetitive tasks
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, and be able to stand for extended periods with a keen attention to detail
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, able to work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs) when necessary
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety and handling skills and transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers, and feed and unload processing machines
- The candidates should be able to check products and packaging for basic quality defects, assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, and clean machines and immediate work areas
