No of Vacancies: 4
Salary: $16.75 to $19.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 80 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Knouff Lake Rd, Kamloops, BC V0E 1Z1
Shifts: Overtime
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in cold/refrigerated environments and with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically demanding and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
