Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1+ year supervisory or leadership experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience working in the retail merchandising service industry or directly for a large-scale retailer and Forklift experience
- The candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, staying attentive and aware, catching errors before completing assignments, and maintaining high-quality standards for work
- The candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to promote teamwork and computer skills and knowledge of web-based applications
- The candidates should be comfortable with some heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time, and should also be comfortable using ladders and lift equipment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise, coach, train, and develop Merchandising Associates within their work team
- The candidates should be able to perform performance management of direct reports, providing constructive feedback and support
- The candidates should be able to partner effectively with store leaders to execute merchandising strategies, including seasonal resets and special projects
- The candidates should be able to direct, monitor, and assist merchandising activities for associates, including stocking, price changes or labeling, and organizing signage or displays
- The candidates should be able to ensure that point of purchase (POP) displays and signage are ordered and set up correctly according to planograms
- The candidates should be able to provide clear direction on cross-merchandising activities in line with the merchandising off-shelf program
- The candidates should be able to utilize store systems proficiently to access and analyze key merchandising reports for effective decision-making
