Our highly trained valve technicians supervise and provide a complete repair and overhaul service, covering all brands of gate, globe, plug, check, ball, control, pressure reducing, safety relief, and teflon lined valves. Salary: $17.00 to $24.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Sarnia, ON
Shifts: Day, Overtime, On Call, 08:00 to 16:30
Work Setting: Various locations, maintenance, service, repair and overhaul
Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty, at heights, odours, confined spaces and noisy area
Security and safety: Bond required and basic security clearance is required
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 5 years or more
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks

- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Hydraulic system, Lathes and other machining tools, Pumps and compressors, Tool grinders, Welding equipment and Hand tools
- The candidate should have specialization on bearing, seals and packing, specialty welding and stainless steel welding
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- The candidate should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts
- The candidate should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- The candidate should be able to perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- The candidate should be able to operate machining tools to fabricate parts
