Work setting: Machinery installation, Maintenance, Repair, and Manufacture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations, Troubleshooting, Bearing, seals and packing, Stainless steel welding, Programmable logic controller (PLC), Wiring, and Welding
Equipment and machinery experience: Automated and robotic system, Electrical and electronic controls, Fans and blowers, Gas compressors, Heat exchangers, Hydraulic system, Lathes and other machining tools, Power tools, Pumps and compressors, Tool grinders, Welding equipment, and Hand tools
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office
Own tools/equipment: Tools and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement, and Forklift Operator Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy environment and in an environment with odours
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, perform physically demanding tasks, and handle weights of more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail, be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, and be capable of weight handling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and repair or replace defective machinery parts
- The candidates should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, perform routine maintenance work on machinery, and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- The candidates should be able to program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), install machinery and equipment, operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
