Accurate Mechanical Systems Ltd is a reputable mechanical contracting company with extensive experience in the industry. We specialize in providing reliable and high-quality mechanical systems and services. From HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) installations and repairs to plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems. Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Delta, BC & Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, 06:00 to 16:30
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle
Work setting: Machinery installation, Various locations, Maintenance, Service, Repair, Machine set-up
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools, Welding equipment
Area of specialization: Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Credentials: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts
- The candidates should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- The candidates should be able to assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
- The candidates should be able to installing machinery and equipment
