Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years’
Welding techniques: Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts
- The candidates should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- The candidates should be able to assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation), installing machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment
