Salary: $40.31 hourly for 84 hours bi-weekly

Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Conveyor, Fans and Blowers, Gas Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Hydraulic System, Lathes and Other Machining Tools, Pneumatic System, Pumps, and Compressors
Own tools/equipment: Tools and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble mechanical equipment, should be able to coach and instruct apprentices, and should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts, and should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on machinery, should be able to operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and should be able to install machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment
