Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably in Accounting
Experience: Candidates should have 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in mining operations within a public company environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to effectively manage and lead a team in a deadline-driven environment
- The candidates should have the ability to build relationships with senior site managers and corporate staff
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a CPA designation and superior computer skills, with experience in SAP, OneStream, and advanced Excel knowledge
- The candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to develop employees, provide guidance, direction, and training, and promote a positive working environment
- The candidates should be results-driven, energetic, creative, and hardworking and strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manage the payroll processes and lead the payroll team effectively
- The candidates should be able to oversee the accounts payable function and provide leadership to the accounts payable team
- The candidates should be able to manage other finance department functions, including general accounting, historical corporate reporting, the annual audit process, and cash management, while supervising the responsible teams
- The candidates should be able to ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and operating effectively
- The candidates should be able to ensure a high level of data accuracy in all financial processes and reporting
