Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 39 hours per week

Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning, 08:30 to 18:00
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Apprenticeship training: Level one apprenticeship training, Level two apprenticeship training, and Level three apprenticeship training
Area of specialization:Â Motorcycle, Snowmobile, Motor scooter, and All-terrain vehicles (ATV)
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
Credentials:Â Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
Security and safety:Â Driving record check (abstract), Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in manual dexterity tasks, demonstrating precision and accuracy in handling materials, and possess a keen attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks
- The candidates should exhibit strong hand-eye coordination, enabling them to perform tasks requiring precise manipulation, and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed to complete tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, maintaining productivity and focus throughout their shifts
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be adept at excellent oral communication, effectively conveying information and ideas to team members and stakeholders, and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to collective goals
- The candidates should exhibit reliability, consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling responsibilities with dependability and accountability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to estimate repair costs accurately and inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults effectively, as well as adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system parts proficiently
- The candidates should be able to perform scheduled maintenance and service tasks efficiently, advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment clearly, and review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor comprehensively
- The candidates should be able to test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance thoroughly
