Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Hard hat, Gloves
Credentials: Fall Arrest Protection Training Course, Confined Space Entry Training, Rig Worker Fall Protection, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Standard First Aid Certificate
Field work location experience: Territories
Geographical areas of specialization: Prairies region, British Columbia, Ontario and/or Quebec, Maritimes, Alberta
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Medical exam, Drug test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, dangerous area, in wet/damp area, noisy area, odours, outdoors, hot area, dusty area, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the rig derrick
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions and other mechanical equipment
- The candidates should be able to assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs
- The candidates should be able to manipulate sections of pipes or drill stems at rig floor during drilling and during removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems and drill bits
- The candidates should be able to handle, sort and move drill pipes, tools, cement and other materials
- The candidates should be able to clean up rig areas, assist other workers to maintain drilling equipment on drill floor
- The candidates should be able to assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs and service equipment
