Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one season of lift operation experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to read, write, and speak in English and 20/20 eyesight or corrected 20/20 vision using corrective lenses
- The candidates should be able to work at heights of more than 20 feet using a safety harness and fall protection equipment and lift heavy equipment and parts (50 lbs.) as required during routine maintenance
- The candidates should be prepared and able to stand in a relatively stationary position for extended periods of up to 8 hours to perform specific maintenance functions
- The candidates should be able to work on elevated platforms that limit movement during standard maintenance and expect and be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- The candidates should be prepared and able to work extended hours (10+ hours per day) safely and in all adverse working conditions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and previous mechanical and electrical experience (strongly recommended)
- The candidates should be prepared and able to endure extended periods of equipment operation
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform painting and restoration of lift facilities to ensure proper upkeep and longevity
- The candidates should be able to operate chairlifts during maintenance procedures while adhering to safety protocols
- The candidates should be able to follow established safe working procedures and wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times
- The candidates should be able to notify the supervisor when materials need to be ordered to prevent delays in maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to conduct daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, distributing them according to project plans and supervisor directions
- The candidates should be able to keep the work area clean and free from dirt and debris between tasks and at the end of the day
- The candidates should be able to assist in various forms of labor to contribute to the successful completion of projects and maintain and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
