Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School
Experience: Candidates should have 2+ years experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of handling projects and stretch assignments, take ownership of the facility location and the ability to lead the team in meetings and projects

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, demonstrate leadership skills and be capable of providing peer-to-peer technical support
  • The candidates should possess effective communication skills, require little to no direct supervision
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice and guidance to less experienced personnel and fill in for the AFM during vacations or absences

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to respond to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment, including but not limited to minor repairs of HVAC, refrigeration, hot and cold beverage equipment, fountain or backroom ice makers, hot food equipment, fuel dispensers
  • The candidates should be able to respond to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, including working outside on building or roof and exemplify the 7-Eleven Values and Leadership Principles
  • The candidates should be able to manage parts inventory on the truck and order parts, replace ‘plug and play’ equipment and schedule and prioritize duties and work assignments on a daily basis
  • The candidates should be able to complete required reports and paperwork daily to account for time and use of parts and materials
  • The candidates should be able to observe and inspect equipment to determine if servicing or further action
  • The candidates should be able to read, interpret, and follow procedures described in service manuals per manufacturer guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to calibrate pumps, dispensers, and other equipment in accordance with legal standards
  • The candidates should be able to recommend when an outside contractor is required to handle a maintenance issue and provide training to less experienced technicians
  • The candidates should be able to complete other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management and comply with and follow all safety regulations and protocols
