Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2+ years of experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to take ownership of facility location responsibilities and be capable of leading the team in meetings and projects
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have GED, a valid Class 5 license, demonstrate leadership skills and provide peer-to-peer tech support
- The candidates should have effective communication skills and require little to no direct supervision
- The candidates should be able to provide advice and guidance to less experienced personnel
- The candidates should be open to projects or stretch assignments and fill in for AFM during vacations or absences
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to respond to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, hot and cold beverage equipment, hot food equipment, and fuel dispensers
- The candidates should be able to handle minor repairs for equipment such as fryers, griddles, coffee machines, ice makers, and fuel dispensers
- The candidates should be able to respond to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, including outdoor work on building or roof areas
- The candidates should be able to exemplify the 7-Eleven Values and Leadership Principles and order and manage parts inventory on the service truck
- The candidates should be able to replace ‘plug and play’ equipment as needed and schedule or prioritize daily duties and work assignments
- The candidates should be able to complete required reports and paperwork daily, documenting time, parts, and materials used
- The candidates should be able to observe and inspect equipment to determine if servicing or further action
- The candidates should be able to read, interpret, and follow service manuals per manufacturer guidelines and calibrate pumps and dispensers in accordance with legal standards
- The candidates should be able to recommend outside contractors when necessary for more complex maintenance issues
- The candidates should be able to provide training to less experienced technicians and comply with and follow all safety regulations and protocols
