Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of working in all weather conditions and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and able to handle physically demanding work
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops and clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables and mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to pack fruits and vegetables and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
