Bradner Mushroom Farm ltd. is a family-owned and operated business specializing in growing fresh organic mushrooms and substrate production. Our farm has grown from a small white mushroom growing operation to the largest supplier of organic mushrooms in Canada. We utilize state-of-the-art growing technology and practices in order to replicate the exact environment in which shiitake and oyster mushrooms grow and thrive. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, also training will be provided to the candidates.
Equipment and machinery experience: Pickers
Type of crops: Mushrooms
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
- The candidate should be physically demanding and required to handle heavy loads.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should clean crop, grading, hand harvesting vegetables, pick row and orchard crops and also clean work area.
- The candidate should sort and pack fruits and vegetables and load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry.
