Jacks nails and spa is a local owned business that offers a wide variety of services like manicure & pedicures, regular polish, shellac polish, eyelash extensions, shellac & gel polish nails, waxing, and many more. Salary: $20.00 to $21.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 80 to 90 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Airdrie, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Work setting: Esthetician’s salon, Beauty shop or aesthetic service
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Area of work experience: Esthetician, Manicurist, Pedicurist, Nail and lashes applicator
Credentials: Esthetician certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, organized, reliable, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean, trim and polish nails, eyebrow tinting
- The candidates should be able to do nail art technics, provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
- The candidates should be able to do facials, foot massage, own clientele
- The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments
- The candidates should be able to do manicures, pedicures, skin care, waxing, and eyelash extensions
