Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children with care and attention to their needs while also disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents, ensuring consistency and respect
• The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintaining accurate documentation, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, identifying and addressing potential hazards
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental development, and prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of children, considering their preferences and any dietary restrictions
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, providing support, guidance, and attention throughout the day, as well as take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring punctuality and safety during transportation
• The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering comfort, support, and encouragement as needed, and help children with homework, providing assistance and guidance with their studies and assignments
