Salary: $17.65 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Transportation information: Public transportation is available, travel expenses paid by employer, and willing to travel

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on meeting client needs and ensuring client satisfaction, possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration, and have excellent oral communication skills to convey information clearly
- The candidates should be flexible in adapting to changing work requirements and environments, demonstrate initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes, and be organized in managing their tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability by consistently fulfilling their duties and meeting deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, care for pets, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
