Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Drug test

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash, iron or press clothing and household linens
The candidates should be able to bathe, dress or feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct them in personal hygiene or social development
The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities or health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games or outings for children
The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and tend to their emotional well-being
