Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials:Â CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training and sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and organize activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and prepare infants and children for rest periods and supervise and care for children
