Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, perform physically demanding tasks, and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be client-focused, efficient in interpersonal skills, and excellent in oral communication
• The candidates should be flexible, take initiative, and able to exercise judgement
• The candidates should be organized, reliable, team players, and able to manage time effectively

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments
• The candidates should be able to tend to emotional well-being of children, and cook
