Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 27 hours per week

Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Employer’s home and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Proficiency Test, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry Check, Child Welfare Check, Criminal Record Check, and Vulnerable Sector Check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, work in a non-smoking environment, and work in a scent-free environment
  • The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, reliability, and have strong time management skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate patience and uphold honesty in their work

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • The candidates should be able to assume full household responsibility in parents’ absence, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and care for pets
  • The candidates should be able to discipline children as requested by parents, instruct them in personal hygiene and social development, and maintain a safe and healthy home environment
  • The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and tend to children’s emotional well-being
  • The candidates should be able to cook, supervise and care for children, and administer first aid in emergency situations
