Salary: $15.25 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping, and be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to parental methods, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
