Salary: $39.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Testing equipment and methods: Nondestructive testing

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail and stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and stay organized
The candidates should be reliable and work effectively as a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects, set up and operate radiographic equipment, and calibrate, test and interpret ultrasonic equipment
The candidates should be able to set up, calibrate, operate and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment, establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations
The candidates should be able to maintain test result reports
