Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Power Tools, Small Hand Tool, Nail Guns, and Saws
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check and Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to show attention to detail and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to exhibit manual dexterity, handle physically demanding tasks, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels and make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products and record information on products inspected
- The candidates should be able to utilize hand and power tools, sort, pile, and transport wood products, and remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas and assist other processing workers in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment
