Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience in business administration

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lbs, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time and be flexible and available for temporary, on-call work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have training and experience interacting with the public in a retail and service environment, including sales and cash transactions
  • The candidates should have an understanding of general or post office accounting systems

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sell postal products and services to the business community and the public, providing excellent customer service and promoting available offerings
  • The candidates should be able to sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in mail handling
  • The candidates should be able to provide customers with information and forms related to postal services, answering inquiries and assisting with necessary documentation
  • The candidates should be able to address delivery and service difficulties, resolving problems thoroughly and quickly to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
