Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have hold a minimum of a master’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work independently and be flexible to adapt to changing clinical situations
• The candidates should work collaboratively with all members of the health care team, including patients and their families
• The candidates should be able to work independently in different environments (including various weather conditions) and be physically capable of carrying approximately 25-30 lbs
• The candidates should have proven leadership experience and possess a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have successfully completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program and
• The candidates should be registered with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure
• The candidates should have current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
• The candidates should have at least 1 year of clinical experience managing complex clients with dementia (within the last 3 years)
• The candidates should have at least 1 year of Seniors Health experience and advanced clinical and assessment skills
• The candidates should be trained in Connect Care and competent with MS Office Suite and TEAMs and experience in at least 2 care sectors, including Seniors Health
• The candidates should have CNA Certification in Geriatrics or be willing to obtain it and Case Management Education
• The candidates should have experience in program planning, adult education, interdisciplinary practice, and research activities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan
• The candidates should be able to integrate clinical skills from nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests
• The candidates should be able to prescribe treatment and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients
• The candidates should be able to utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership, and Optimizing Health Systems
• The candidates should be able to engage in education and research to enhance care quality and promote appropriate use of health services
• The candidates should be able to inform and influence healthcare systems to improve patient outcomes
