Salary: $70.00 to $77.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 21 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Master’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an assetÂ
Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team, coordinate patient care, and evaluate patient care and progress
- The candidates should be able to implement an interdisciplinary plan of care, interpret medical test results, and order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
- The candidates should be able to perform diagnostic tests, plan patient care, and provide end-of-life counseling and bereavement support to patients and their families
- The candidates should be able to advise patients on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, ensure infection control, and support and facilitate the grieving process for the patient and their family
- The candidates should be able to care for, assess, and monitor the health of newborns and refer infants to appropriate medical services as required, advise patients on health care, and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- The candidates should be able to conduct patient interviews, physical assessments, and take medical histories, and provide health maintenance education
