Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and meet physically demanding requirements
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle budding trees, mix fertilizer, and shear Christmas trees
- The candidates should be able to spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides, assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants, and mix and prepare soils
- The candidates should be able to report signs of insect or disease damage and clean the work area
