Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 75 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Accounting and Payroll services
Computer and technology knowledge: Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, and Electronic mail

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, perform repetitive tasks, and work with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, accurate, and reliable
  • The candidate should manage time effectively, have accountability, and be dependable

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and answer electronic enquiries
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics and other information, order office supplies and maintain inventory, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks, calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
