Salary: $25.56 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Correspondence, reports and records, contracts, statistics, charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams, and project management
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, social media, and MS Office
Technical terminology: Business 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and be experienced in managing a large caseload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should display flexibility in their approach to tasks and exercise sound judgment
  • The candidates should be well-organized, accurate in their work, and have a strong client focus
  • The candidates should be team players, demonstrate reliability, and effectively manage their time

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, and schedule and confirm appointments for the organization
  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement policies and procedures within the organization, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to train other workers and oversee their development, manage training and development strategies for employees, and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures when necessary
  • The candidates should be able to assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, oversee the analysis of employee data and information, and oversee the development of communication strategies within the organization
  • The candidates should be able to record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, compile data, statistics, and other information for reporting purposes, and prepare reports for management
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone calls and relay messages to appropriate personnel, answer electronic inquiries from employees and external parties, and respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely manner
  • The candidates should be able to advise senior management on various organizational matters and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies and maintain inventory levels, arrange travel arrangements, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed, and greet visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations within the organization, set up and maintain both manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents accurately
  • The candidates should be able to conduct research on various topics as required and collaborate with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages effectively
