Job Description:

Salary: $28.85 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Flexible Hours, Morning
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to review and evaluate new administrative procedures, establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, and carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • The candidates should be able to administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation, co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services, and assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • The candidates should be able to assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, perform data entry, and train staff
  • The candidates should be able to oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, and oversee payroll administration
  • The candidates should be able to plan and control budget and expenditures
