- The candidates should be able to efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas while prioritizing care and quality to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers
- The candidates should be able to pack orders with attention to detail, ensuring accurate distinctions between similarly named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes
- The candidates should be able to ensure that picked products are of the highest quality, avoiding damaged items and selecting the freshest products available
- The candidates should be able to correctly document and label all orders by interpreting and understanding necessary documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
- The candidates should be able to optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards
- The candidates should be able to balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, providing support and resolving any issues that arise
- The candidates should be able to ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, promptly cleaning up spills and debris, and ensuring that totes are clean before packing. They should operate material handling equipment safely, completing all pre-inspection checks before use and exhibiting behaviors that align with the organization’s mission and core values
- The candidates should be able to participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes related to operational procedures, productivity standards, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards; demonstrating flexibility in adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules
