Part-Time PM Evening Shift: Monday to Friday (5 days a week – No Weekends!). The shift start time is 5:00 pm. Shift finish time between 8:30pm – 10:00 pm (approx.) depending on package volume. Flexibility is needed with start and finish times. Shifts can extend longer during high package volume during the peak holiday season
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs./32 kg
- The candidates should have availability to work flexible shift hours, 5 days per week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to read and memorize postal codes
- The candidates should be prepared for shifts that may start or end hours earlier depending on package volume
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- The candidates should be at ease with working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
- The candidates should meet local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean trucks during or after operations
- The candidates should be able to learn and properly execute UPS package handling methods
- The candidates should be able to load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars
- The candidates should be able to reposition vehicles according to the established dock plan
- The candidates should be able to scan packages using the correct equipment
- The candidates should be able to sort packages according to the defined processes
