Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience handling cash, debit, and credit card payments, including balancing and making deposits
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada and possess and maintain a valid full-stage Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence
- The candidates should be physically able to perform the duties assigned to the position, including lifting approximately 15 kgs of weight and standing for prolonged periods
- The candidates should be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and shift work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with the public
- The candidates should have the ability to effectively deal with stressful situations and work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
- The candidates should have strong verbal communication skills and experience working with Microsoft Office or equivalent software application
- The candidates should have experience working with electronic cash and point-of-sale systems
- The candidates should have experience with grounds maintenance and janitorial duties and ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accurately collect and remit revenue and operate the Parks Reservation Service computerized system
- The candidates should be able to respond effectively to public concerns and inquiries and manage the day-to-day operation of a campground
- The candidates should be able to perform minor maintenance and janitorial upkeep of park facilities
- The candidates should be able to maintain the campground office, campsites, and other facilities and structures
