Park attendant
West Kootenay Parks/ Martha Creek based in Revelstoke, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Park attendant. West Kootenay Parks/ Martha Creek features well-maintained trails that range from easy to challenging, offering hikers of all skill levels an opportunity to explore the area’s natural beauty. We also have a well-stocked lake that attracts anglers from all over the region. Our facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a range of amenities that include picnic areas, fire pits, and washroom facilities. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Location: Revelstoke, BC
Shifts: Day, To be determined, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors area
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
