Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience: Candidates should have six month’s retail experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be regularly required to stand and talk or hear
- The candidates should be frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The candidates must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg

- The candidates should have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- The candidates should be able to write simple correspondence

- The candidates should possess the ability to use a point-of-sale system and have a basic understanding of cash register functions and cash procedures

- The candidates should have the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Additionally, they should be able to work overtime hours during peak sales periods, which include but are not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Back-to-School
- The candidates should be proficient in both English and French (verbal and written)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist customers in the selection of Adidas merchandise, while providing information about the product, materials, technology, and functionality
- The candidates should be able to ensure adidas’ customer service standards are upheld by listening to customer’s wants and needs, and providing product information when required
- The candidates should be able to drive and close sales by utilizing adidas’ selling techniques and the in-store AOS system (where available)
- The candidates should be able to complete customer sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, etc.)
- The candidates should be able to maintain store appearance, assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, and assist with customer service inquiries
- The candidates should have proficient knowledge of adidas’ products and programs, including technology, product information and requirements, merchandise promotions, and advertising
- The candidates should be able to help support and create a team environment by respecting co-workers
- The candidates should adhere to adidas’ brand values and Sales Associate competencies
- The candidates should assist with telephone duties
- The candidates should adhere to company policy and procedures relating to inventory control
- The candidates should perform other duties as required by store management
