Shift: Mornings, Afternoons and Evening (Shift work, Split shifts, Weekends and Holidays)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically fit, capable of lifting up to 70 pounds repetitively
  • The candidates should be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or be able to show proof of the right to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license
  • The candidates must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • The candidates should demonstrate effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist passengers while in the terminal building with duties including check-in, baggage drops, and boarding
  • The candidates should be able to greet passengers and issue tickets and should be able to assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the aircraft
  • The candidates should be able to handle passengers’ luggage and be able to ensure all activities are following safety regulations laid out by Transport Canada
  • The candidates should be able to communicate with other departments
  • The candidates should be able to operate passenger loading jet-way bridge (passenger walkway)
  • The candidates should be able to provide award-winning customer service throughout all daily interactions
