Salary: $14.25 to $18.83 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: 561 RUE RACINE, Québec, QC G2B 1G3
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Bake shop, Supermarket or bakery department
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Food specialties: Desserts and pastries, Cake decorating
Credentials: Baker Trade Certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination, and should have the ability to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, reliable, and judgmental.
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- The candidates should be able to bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- The candidates should be able to draw up production schedules, ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- The candidates should be able to operate machinery, organize and maintain inventory
- The candidates should be able to oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
