Salary: $30.77 to $32.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries, and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems, and complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for the administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements, and inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
  • The candidates should be able to prepare monthly statements, compile statistics and reports, and maintain payroll
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems, prepare payroll, and perform data entry
