Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in the employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication and efficient interpersonal skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
