Target Audience:Â School age (6 – 12 years)
Work setting:Â Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of sitting for extended periods and be proficient in walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit punctuality in their work and demonstrate a strong client focus in their interactions
- The candidates should be dependable in fulfilling their responsibilities and display flexibility in adapting to various situations
- The candidates should show initiative in taking on tasks and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be highly organized in their approach, reliable in their work, and effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
