Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Barrie, ON
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care with empathy and professionalism, meeting the individual needs of each client, including assisting with bathing and maintaining dignity
The candidates should be able to assist clients with regular exercise routines, such as walking, to promote physical well-being, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties for a hygienic environment
The candidates should be able to provide companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance emotional well-being, and prepare nutritious meals meeting dietary needs and preferences
