Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and sit for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable and able to demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent oral communication, flexible and show initiative
- The candidates should be able to show sound judgement, organized and reliable
- The candidates should be patient and honest
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
