Salary: $23.81 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate and Nursing home/home for the aged.
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Vulnerable sector check, Tuberculosis test, and Reference required
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and assisting with personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to feed patients and assist with meal trays
- The candidates should be able to serve meal trays, feed patients, and assist with feeding as needed
- The candidates should be able to transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher and assist with mobility
- The candidates should be able to collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations
- The candidates should be able to make beds, maintain patients’ rooms, and perform light housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens and provide companionship to patients
