Salary: $25.00 hourly for 3 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time – On the road job
Location: Thunder Bay, ON
Shifts: On Call, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Urban area, Rural area, On-site customer service, and Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Animal traps
Credentials: Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working with odours, able to work in dusty environments, and capable of working at heights

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks and be able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, place and set traps to capture and remove animals, and clean out areas that harbor pests
  • The candidates should also be able to advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
