Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy, providing a welcoming environment
- The candidates should be able to practice within federal/provincial, regulatory, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance at all times
- The candidates should be able to ensure that all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- The candidates should be able to provide counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter, and behind-the-counter products to help customers make informed decisions, practice to the full extent of their expanded scope with Professional Services, within their capability
- The candidates should be able to be clearly identifiable to the public, promoting trust and professionalism, ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed, verifying details before providing medication
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide comprehensive customer care, maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy to ensure proper documentation
- The candidates should be able to control access to the dispensary with respect to inventory and patient confidentiality, ensuring a secure environment, review and maintain Workflow Queues on a daily basis to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy
- The candidates should be able to regularly review ‘will call’ bins in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures to manage customer prescriptions, review stock regularly to identify expired inventory and take appropriate action
